MD Moving Solutions LLC

Brokered move with Safe Ship Moving Services in Boynton Beach, Fl., who underestimated the size of the load to give us a lower price. Stay far away from this broker who seems to have a relationship with MD Moving Solutions.

When MD Moving sent the truck to pickup from our Storage, they said the load size was larger than the actual cubic footage of the storage unit ( I measured with the foreman to confirm, and his version of math was based on wasted area in his truck ). There was an up charge on their poor skills at loading truck.

The loaders told us that 5 of our boxes that were boxed by Movers who brought our goods to storage facility, needed to be overboxed for $75 each, so we ended up taking them ourselves in our SUV.

When we arrived at final destination in Florida, the truck had not left NJ yet , in spite of contracted delivery date. The broker made very flimsy attempts to describe what a delivery date meant. The movers were unwilling to accept responsibility for the mistake. We had actually paid an expedited service delivery date fee which turned out to be wasted money.

This was a very poorly executed move by a group of shifty players. I would strongly advise against using their services, as I would never use them again.

MD Movers sent David and Mauro to move my mom's belongings from NJ to VA in January 2024, during one of the coldest spells of the winter. They were extremely careful in wrapping everything so nothing was damaged. They arrived in VA the same day they packed everything in NJ and worked through the evening in the extreme cold to finish the job that night. They never stopped working until the belongings were all in place and they even took time to carefully assemble several items. They went out of their way to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction and were so kind and caring about working in our home. I highly recommend MD movers, especially the team of David and Mauro, for anyone who has special belongings that need to be moved with care. They provided the additional bonus of expediting this move. They are among the best! Thank you, David and Mauro...much success to you both in your future moves!

Today was pick up of my belongings from a 10x12 storage unit. MD Moving Solutions was contracted out by SaferShipMoving (I do not recommend these brokers) and David & Mauro communicated ahead of arrival time and were very punctual. We hit a snag when I showed all that needed to be moved based on phone convo with the broker - he actually underestimated the cubic feet by 450. Both young men were very patient with me while I was on the phone trying to find out what had happened to cause this much of a discrepancy. David was the one who constantly gave me updates from his boss as to the increased moving cost while also managing the paperwork and Mauro in the meantime started wrapping my furniture and exercise equipment. I had assured them that I would pay of course since I had a very short moving window. Both men worked tirelessly, calmly and with great care, all the while assuring me that everything would be properlytaken care of by them and their company. They strapped everything in and ensured nothing would move during transit from NJ to SC (close to Charlotte).
